13:00: Esterhazy Wine Museum: In the over 300-year-old cellar vaults of the Esterházy Palace, the largest wine museum in Austria attracts over 700 unique objects relating to wine and viticulture - from historic barrels to the oldest tree press in Burgenland. 17:00 Cool off: The outdoor pool in the park of the Esterházy Palace is one of the most charming bathing establishments in Austria. Quarry St. Margarethen and FERTŐRÁKOS
10:30 Sankt Margarethen quarry: St. Margarethen quarry is one of the largest and oldest quarries in Europe. Already in ancient times the valuable St. Margarethen limestone quarry was used. The stone is mined to this day and was used, among other things, in the construction and restoration of the Viennese St. Stephen's Cathedral as well as in the construction of many Viennese ring road buildings. The giant of prehistory has released numerous important fossils (some 25 million years old) in the 20th century. Since 2001, the St. Margarethen quarry has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
